Business Development Consultant Job Description.

In summary

This is a highly important and professional position which will involve a great deal of skill and knowledge surrounding sales, marketing and online technologies related to social media and e-business. It also requires some business acumen in the area of planning and strategy. As Business Development Consultant you’re delegated to produce sales in the geographic region allocated to you with the expectation of contributing significant growth for the business in terms of sales, brand and reputation. This position therefore carries with it a great deal of responsibility and you will be targeted on own sales.

Description
Assisting the company to achieve its goals and objectives in your area is your primary responsibility, reporting directly to the Regional Manager.

You’ll also be required to work toward improving productivity, customer relations and service and surpass agreed regional goals. To assist in this you’ll be required to visit locations throughout your region, undertake accompanied visits and assist business clients to make the most of the ipatter products and services.

The responsibilities include:
Visiting and telephoning multiple local businesses.
Working with businesses in the region to develop their use of the services.
Mentoring businesses in the region in regard to the services.
Implementing and managing company policy, strategy and values in your region.
Brand development activities.
Planning and coordinating regional sales activites and customer ipatter training.
Reviewing measures to achieve performance targets.
Attending conferences, events and meetings.
Preparing, reviewing and reporting on your own Key Performance Indicators.
Negotiating contracts and deals.

Remuneration
A commission Only position target to produce 20 sales per month on an average of 50% commission of gross sale value. Sales split between ipatter platform sales and networking membership sales with first year OTE in the region of £26k in year 1 rising to £72k year three assuming 75% retention from previous years.
