Security Analyst - Belfst


Job Description
Our international financial trading and investment client has a new opportunity for a Security Engineer - Lead Analyst in their Belfast office.
This position will be responsible for assisting in the engineering of the application connectivity through Perimeter Security Operations, managed firewalls, creation and management of the documentation for the connectivity in our clients connectivity registry, representing the registered connectivity for approval on the Third Party Access Solutions Working Group (3PASWG) Weekly Call, and reviewing the Firewall Change Request for accuracy and compliance to support all third party connectivity.

Provide technical guidance to the Business, the ISO's, the clients and the vendors. Ensure third parties are registered on the client database and the requested applications are listed in the Company Systems Inventory (CSI ).
Will work with client organizations, Helpdesk and other CT groups to ensure all firewall and ACL related troubles are corrected and documented in a timely manner. Document new policies and procedures. Work with other group members to ensure that the Process Control Management documentation and other documentations (drawings, databases, spreadsheets, etc) are up to date and accurate.
The team is currently based in the US however this team is expanding to support EMEA requests; therefore it is necessary to have EMEA experts who will be based in Belfast on the team.
Essential Skills

  • CP/IP Protocols
  • IPSec/GRE/GETVPN
Desirable Skills:
Firewall Administration, TCP/IP Protocols, IPSec/GRE/GETVPN, Project Management.
Management of Technology Projects including:Platform Migration, Data Migration, Network/Firewall Connectivity, Windows/Unix/Linux Administration, Security Configuration, Scripting ,web Services and FTP, Encryption, Encryption Algorithms, Hardware Encryption (Encryptors/IPSec/GRE/GETVPN)
Software Encryption (NDM/FTP/Application), VPN solutions, CCNA Certification or working towards certification.
