This company is searching for an experienced application support engineer to support their complex trading systems. This is a very demanding and highly technical role which requires the successful candidate to make critical support decisions for the business while working under pressure.
The role will also require the successful candidate to manage complex project work for new or existing support systems, monitoring systems, support tools and/or deployment of new software trading systems.
Skills required:
- Excellent Systems and Application Support experience (5 years providing 2nd level Production Support)
- Strong experience with Windows (XP, 2003, 2008) and Unix servers
- Sound troubleshooting skills
- Scripting experience is a big benefit
